I live in Canada and visit the states a few times a year. I guess I should first say thanks to Catholic Charties USA, the American Red Cross and other charities that are doing something to help the victims of the hurricane. I have donated and I am planning on donating some more as soon as my cheque comes through. EVERYBODY who can should.

... This is the SAD PART. Who on earth could've imagined that an American city and real Americans who give more than their sons and daughters to defend America will be left alone to fend for themselves without food, water, power or basic medical asssistance for a week. This is the richest country in the world people and frankly it's embarrasing. They are capable of invading a country on the other side of the world, feed more than 125,000 soldiers for years but can not send a few helicopters to drop enough food and water to few Americans in need..be it they're poor AND BLACK ?!!!

Everyone remembers when the whole administration went to office on sunday to discuss Schivo's case. It's now the 5th day and nothing concrete has been done by these so called leaders to help.. where's the national guard? Are they for real??
