Work has gotten the best of me this week. I feel as if I've neglected my faithful.

I'm seriously thinking about taking on some staff, so that I can bring you, my most awesome, favorite people, the best content in blogging today. You'll be paid handsomely in Milkduds and slurpies.

Anyway, life is great. I'm staring down the barrel of a four-day weekend and can only smile thinking that I'll have to work on Saturday and Sunday. I say to The Man, "Bring it on!"

I'm taking off on Monday to go climbing. I promise to take lots of pictures and will share when I get back.

In the meantime, tell me of your potential 4th of July plans and how many hamburgers you plan on eating. Extra-points if you are a vegetarian.

Pretty laid back 4th planned. Just doing some work around the house and then going up to my brothers house for a nice smoked brisket with the family.

But, I've been enjoying every minute of this 4 day weekend. We had a visit from Carrie Goodwin, now Smith and her husband. I don't know if you remember her or not. They stayed with us for a few days, it was cool. Beth and she were roommates in college.

Do you think Madras shorts are cool? I bought this plaid shorts today that Beth seems to think are very uncool. I just don't want to be getting to that age where the things I think are pretty cool are really retarded. Or do I?

I hope you enjoy the 4th man and your climbing trip.

Latina in SF- as in South Florida (I have been in hibernation-check your e-mail)...needless to say, the weather has been scorching and humid. Apparently, a lot of people like coming here for that sort of thing...or they could do like me and move here. However, I would always recommend the other SF as a living location. How is it that I rave about it am still here???

Since you have not updated your blog yet, I am going to squeeze in a comment to say hi to you and all of your awesome SF buddies. I miss all of you!!! A trip out there is long overdue (or vice versa).

I enjoyed avoiding the hot weather on the 4th of July in my apartment and hung out with my mother (she is cool to hang out with...or could it be that the older I get, the smaller the gap becomes in the way we see the world). Though I could not see the actual beach nor ocean, I did enjoy watching the long stretch of fireworks from the comfort of my apartment.

Anyway, hope you had a great climbing trip and look forward to reading all about it! God bless.

PS- No burgers for me...though, I would consider myself a carnivore- sorry. Unlike other carnivores, however, I enjoy vegetables. Why can't we all just get along. :)
