 October 08, 2006Fleet Week 2007 - SFThe Colossus did another installment of "Carrier News." He reported that the Nimitz was headed to San Francisco for Fleet Week this weekend. Well, the old boy seems to have done his homework, as you can see the Nimitz (CVN 68) passing by my window on Saturday morning.

Wow, great shot. I was out on Alcatraz this spirng. I've never seen a Nimitz-class ship closer than about where you took this from, and that was without a background object to provide scale.
